Andrew Santos was a Werewolf and member of the North American Werewolf Pack until his death. He was the middle son of Raymond Santos, the nephew of Wally Santos, younger brother of Stephen and elder brother of Daniel. Andrew followed Malcolm Danvers along with the rest of his family. He was 13 in late 1970 meaning he was born in 1956 or 1957, he had his first Change sometime before 1972 and died in 1983 at the age of 27 or 28. He is described as having red hair like the rest of his immediate family.

Appearances Edit

Savage Edit

In the novella Savage he is in attendance at the quarterly Pack meet where Clayton Danvers is introduced to the Pack and becomes an official member. Andrew had yet to undergo his first Change as he was only 13. When Clay was sent down to play with the other Pack children he joined in with his elder brother's bullying and believed Jeremy Danvers would have been executed before he embarrassed the Pack if he wasn't friends with Antonio Sorrentino. After the Pack lunch he went with Jeremy to be tutored on what to expect for his first Change, a decision he wasn't pleased about.

Ascension Edit

Andrew is not mentioned to have been present at the deer hunt that takes place in 1972 at the beginning of the novella Ascension, he was likely too young to have undergone his first Change. He is not mentioned to have been in attendance at Dominic Sorrentino's last Pack meet in 1982 but can be assumed to have attended as the rest of his immediate family.

He was present at Dominic's wake and voted for Malcolm Danvers for Alpha. Andrew was with Malcolm and his brother Stephen in 1983 when Clay went to confront Malcolm for having Nicholas Sorrentino shot. Under Malcolm's orders he participated in an attempt on Jeremy Danvers life, he did not fight himself and was instead left to guard Clay who Malcolm wanted left alive, he was subdued and knocked out by Clay. The following day he is killed by Malcolm Danvers who snaps his neck before he can name him as the one to have given the order as well as to prove how far Malcolm was willing to go.

Trivia Edit

  • The Santos family are mentioned to live in Pennsylvania.
  • Andrew was raised as a follower of Malcolm Danvers by his father and uncle and is shown to parrot their opinions and beliefs as fact without ever doubting them or forming an opinion for himself.
  • Clayton Danvers didn't kill him for his participation in an attempt on Jeremy Danvers life because Andrew had given him 'the least reason to hate him' out of the three Santos boys and 'wasn't enough of a threat to warrant killing'.
