Steve Lund was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was originally pursuing a career in hockey, which was promising, however that changed when he suffered an injury. Moving to theatrics, Steve used this opportunity to pursue his love of cooking.
Steve attended Vancouver Film School's Acting Program, where he got his first big break as Stewart in Yukonic! a web series following two friends exploring Canada's Yukon in search of gold to fund their next film project.
Since then, Steve has appeared in Haven's third season as James Cogan. He has also has guest starred in; Nikita, Beauty and The Beast, Hemlock Grove, Defiance, Alphas, Being Erica, Blue Mountain State, Suits and Lost Girl.
Currently, he is starring as Nicholas Sorrentino in Bitten.
- Bitten marks the second time that Steve has worked with Laura Vandervoort. The first was in Haven, where they played husband and wife; James and Arla Cogan.
